The right Instax if the small Mini prints have ever disappointed you. Square film gives photographs enough size to actually display, and the SQ40 keeps the operation as simple as the cheap models.

Our take
The Square format gives you noticeably more picture than Instax Mini, and the SQ40 wraps it in a handsome, simple camera. If Mini prints feel too small, start here.
Substantially. The Square image area is far larger than the credit card-sized Mini frame, which makes a real difference for group shots and anything you intend to pin up or frame.
Yes, per shot. Bigger prints cost more to make, and Square film is stocked in fewer places than Mini. Factor the running cost in before choosing the format.
Choose the SQ40 if print size matters and you will display the results. Choose the Mini 13 if you want the cheapest shots and a camera you can hand to anyone at a party.
