What makes the PowerShot V10 different from other compacts?
The kickstand. It is built into the body, so the camera stands up on any flat surface at a sensible angle without a tripod. Combined with the flip-up screen, that removes the entire setup process for seated filming.
Is it good for walking vlogs?
Less so. There is no mechanical gimbal, so walking footage moves around. For that, a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is much better suited.
How is the low-light performance?
Modest — the sensor is small, so evening and indoor footage gets noisy. It is at its best in daylight or a well-lit room.

Canon PowerShot V10 Video Camera Vlogging Kit is a compact digital camera with a CMOS sensor of approximately 13.1 megapixels during Full HD movie recording and approximately 15.2 megapixels for still photos. It records 4K UHD video at 3840 x 2160, with a shutter speed range of 1/4000 to 1/8 sec and a minimum focus distance of 5cm. It has a 2 inch tiltable LCD touchscreen, built-in stereo microphones with a wind filter, and a lens focal length of 6.6mm, approximately 19mm equivalent.
Connectivity includes Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, with a microSDXC memory card slot.
