For moving footage, comfortably. A phone stabilises electronically by cropping and warping the image; the Pocket 3 uses a real motorised gimbal, so the horizon stays level and walking shots stop looking like walking shots. The 1-inch sensor also holds up far better indoors and at dusk.
Does the Osmo Pocket 3 shoot vertical video?
Yes, and it is the neatest implementation on the market — rotate the screen and the camera switches to vertical. No cropping, no lost resolution, no reframing afterwards.
What is the difference between the standard and Creator Combo?
The Creator Combo adds the DJI Mic 2 transmitter, a battery handle and a mini tripod. If you record yourself talking, that wireless mic is the single biggest quality upgrade available — better audio improves perceived quality more than any sensor. If you shoot silent B-roll, save the money.

DJI Osmo Pocket 3, a pocket-sized action camera with a 1-inch 9.4MP CMOS sensor. Records 4K/120fps video with three-axis mechanical stabilisation, full-pixel fast focusing and a 2-inch rotatable touchscreen for horizontal or vertical shooting. Supports creative modes including SpinShot, Motionlapse, Livestreaming and Panorama, plus D-Log M, 10-bit colour, stereo recording and ActiveTrack 6.0.
Minimum focus distance is 20cm, with continuous shooting of approx 1080p/24fps video for 140 minutes. Connectivity includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a USB port, with a microSD memory card slot supporting up to 512GB.
